Meeting to discuss the Ugift Successor Projector and Food and Environment Safety Standards

During the Meeting of Permanent Secretaries held on Tuesday, 3rd March 2026, it was resolved that a follow-up meeting be convened to deliberate on the UgIFT Successor Project and measures for strengthening food and environmental safety standards in the country.

Accordingly, the Head of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet convened a meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 17th March 2026, in the Cabinet Room, 9th Floor, Office of the President. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Head of Public Service in charge of Performance and Service Delivery, together with the concerned Permanent Secretaries and their technical officers.
