FIELD VISIT TO THE KING FISHER DEVELOPMENT AREA AND TILENGA PROJECT AREA BY THE HEAD OF PUBLIC SERVICE AND SECRETARY TO CABINET
The Head of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet; the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, Communications Technology and National Guidance, accompanied by fourteen staff members, undertook a field visit to the oil and gas operational areas from 28th – 31st October 2025.
The objective of the visit was to assess the progress, opportunities, and challenges in Uganda’s oil and gas projects and to strengthen coordination among key government institutions.
The delegation visited the King Fisher Development Area (KFDA), Kabalega Industrial Park, and the Tilenga Project Area.
