Hon. Ntabazi Harriet

Hon. Harriet Ntabazi is a public administrator, legislator, communication specialist, education professional and policy practitioner with extensive experience in political leadership and public service. She currently serves as Minister of State for Lands in the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development and previously served as Minister of State for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives.
Her political and public service experience includes serving as Member of Parliament for Bwamba County, Woman Member of Parliament for Bundibugyo District, Senior Presidential Adviser on General Duties, Senior Mass Mobiliser at the NRM Secretariat, National Youth Delegate, District Woman Councillor and District Youth Councillor. During her parliamentary career, she has served on committees responsible for ICT, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, Government Assurances and Presidential Affairs, and has also held leadership responsibilities in the Women Parliamentarians Association.
Hon. Ntabazi holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Makerere University, in addition to professional qualifications in education, library science and conflict resolution.
