Induction of the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister

Following the appointment of Mr. Dunstan Balaba as the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister, an induction was conducted by the Cabinet Secretariat on Wednesday, 20th December 2023 in the Cabinet Library, 6th Floor, Office of the President to acquaint him with information needed to perform his duties as Accounting Officer and Permanent Secretary. Some of the topics covered during the induction were: Roles/Functions of a Permanent Secretary, the Political/Administrative Interface, Cabinet Business and the Policy Making Process among others.
